Project description: The project is focused on the development of the SmartMatch Adria solution. This innovative platform enables small and medium-sized enterprises to securely identify investment and exit opportunities by combining AI vector matching with automated compliance modules.
Common challenge: The programme area faces challenges related to the limited competitiveness of SMEs, insufficient financial capacity to develop advanced innovations, and the need to transition towards a green and circular economy.
Objective and expected changes: The objective of the project is to develop and commercialize an innovative platform that combines AI vector matching with automated KYC/AML modules, enabling SMEs to securely identify cross-border investment opportunities. The expected change is the democratization of access to the M&A market, with increased visibility for sellers and faster connections with investors..
Results and deliverables:
- Fully functional SmartMatch platform and go-to-market strategy – Poduzetnički akcelerator Split
- Report on secure IT architecture and artificial intelligence integration – 2BI
- Report on business logic in the energy sector and “ground truth” validation – ENERGOCONTROL-ING
Key phases:
- Phase 1 – Development of new technology, service, or product
- Phase 2 – External expert support for the development of joint technology, service, and product
- Phase 3 – Procurement of new equipment for the joint development of technology, service, and product
- Phase 4 – Activities for entering new markets with the jointly developed technology, service, and product
Need for cross-border approach:
The development of a reliable regional market requires diverse specialized skills that no single partner possesses independently. Poduzetnički akcelerator Split provides M&A business logic and market coordination, 2BI delivers secure IT architecture and AML/identity modules, while Energocontroling ensures physical asset validation. This approach builds trust between investors and sellers at the cross-border level.
Project innovation:
For the first time in the region, the project combines AI vector matching with automated KYC/AML verification and physical “ground truth” validation, enabling safer, faster, and more transparent connections between SMEs and investors in the cross-border market.
